Hi, I am Daniel!
I’m a Christian writer, journalist, and independent researcher based in Australia. My work explores biblical theology, church history, discipleship, culture, technology, and the relationship between Christian faith and public life.
Writing has become a way for me to think carefully, ask honest questions, and help readers see Jesus Christ more clearly in a changing world. Some of my work is devotional and pastoral. Other pieces are historical, cultural, or academic. In every case, I aim to write with clarity, depth, warmth, and faithfulness to Scripture.
Through Faith, Civilization & Theology, I hope to create a serious but accessible space for Christian reflection, thoughtful dialogue, and writing that serves both the Church and the wider world.
Then under it, keep:

A New Beginning
Faith, Civilization & Theology marks a new chapter in my writing journey. It brings together years of reflection on Scripture, theology, church history, discipleship, culture, and public life.
I believe Christian writing should do more than fill a page. It should clarify truth, awaken faith, encourage honest thought, and help readers encounter Jesus Christ more deeply.
This journal is a place for careful reflection, serious questions, and Christ-centred writing. My hope is that every article offers something worth carrying into prayer, study, conversation, and daily life.

Words That Serve
When I began writing seriously, I sometimes wondered whether my words would matter. The internet is already full of noise, argument, and constant opinion. I didn’t want to add more words simply for the sake of being heard.
Over time, I became convinced that Christian writing can still serve a real purpose. It can help people return to Scripture, think more carefully about faith, understand the history of the Church, and face the pressures of modern life with greater wisdom and hope.
Writing creates a meeting place between truth and experience. It allows theology to speak into ordinary life. It gives room for questions, reflection, lament, conviction, and renewal. At its best, it can encourage the weary, challenge the comfortable, and point readers beyond the writer to Jesus Christ.

That is the purpose behind Faith, Civilization & Theology.
I write to explore the questions shaping the Church and the world. I write about biblical theology, Christian history, discipleship, culture, technology, suffering, leadership, and public witness. Some articles are devotional. Others are analytical or academic. Each one is written with the same hope: that readers will encounter something truthful, thoughtful, and worth carrying into prayer and daily life.
This journal also exists to create space for serious Christian conversation. Faith should not be reduced to slogans, reaction, or performance. It deserves careful thought, intellectual honesty, spiritual depth, and a willingness to listen.
My aim is not to provide an easy answer to every question. It is to write faithfully, to pursue truth with humility, and to keep Jesus Christ at the centre.
I’m grateful that you’re here. I invite you to read, reflect, question, and join the conversation as this journal continues to grow.
